    The Sound Contracting Process

    • Initial Phone Call

      During the initial phone call, we’ll discuss your project ideas and expectations. If our visions align, we’ll schedule an in-home consultation and provide our “What to Expect: Initial Meeting” document to help you prepare.

    • In-Home Consultation

      In your home, we’ll explore your vision, discuss your objectives and options, take measurements, and assess your budget. We will also finalize the Project Design and Development Agreement at this stage.

    • Preliminary Design & Initial Budget

      After executing the agreement, we prepare custom design plans and 3D renderings. We will review these with you and collaborate on any necessary revisions to ensure they align with your vision.

    • Detailed Design & Proposal of Service

      Once the design is agreed upon, we prepare detailed pricing, including adjustable allowances based on industry standards, ensuring transparency and flexibility.

    • Construction Agreement Engaged & Deposit

      A deposit specific to your project will reserve your spot in our schedule and may trigger the ordering of long lead-time materials like cabinets. At this stage, final selections may still be pending, with allowances in effect, and additional change orders may be necessary.

    • Selections

      Our Project Specialist (PS) will be your continuous point of contact, providing support and a list of preferred vendors. The PS will assemble a selection summary for your review and approval. The construction start date is determined once final selections are made.

    • Pre-Construction Meeting

      Held in your home 1-2 weeks before the start date, this meeting discusses logistics, event sequence, timeline, and addresses any questions you may have to ensure a smooth start.

    • Construction

      Our skilled team brings your dreams to life, adhering to the agreed timeline while prioritizing clear communication and your comfort. As we near completion, we finalize the remaining tasks, ensuring everything is perfect. Final payment is due at project completion.

    • Project Completion & Warranty

      Enjoy your newly transformed home, showcasing our high-quality craftsmanship. Our relationship continues post-construction with ongoing communication and support to ensure your long-term satisfaction.
